A respectful shared space
Life Legacy terms
These pilot terms explain the responsibilities that help us protect families, contributors and the integrity of every memorial.
Pilot terms · Updated 6 August 2026
Using Life Legacy
You must provide accurate information, protect activation codes and account access, and use the service lawfully. You may create or manage content only when you have the right or family authority to do so.
Family control and contributions
The memorial administrator decides what is published and who may collaborate. Contributors keep responsibility for their submissions and grant Life Legacy permission to store and display approved material as part of the memorial experience.
Respectful content
Do not upload unlawful, threatening, discriminatory, deceptive or infringing material. Do not publish sensitive personal information without permission. We may restrict content or access to protect people, comply with law or preserve service safety.
Plaques and permanent links
A plaque QR code points to a stable Life Legacy link. Physical plaque appearance and lifespan depend on material, installation and conditions. An authorised replacement may retain the same memorial destination.
Packages, billing and refunds
Package price, included features, renewal period, delivery and any refund rights will be shown before purchase. Live payment collection is not enabled during this pilot.
Service continuity
We design for long-term stewardship and sensible migration, but cannot guarantee uninterrupted or perpetual availability. We may improve features and security over time while protecting stored memorial content and providing reasonable notice of material changes.
Liability and disputes
To the extent permitted by South African law, Life Legacy is not responsible for indirect loss or content supplied by users. Nothing in these terms removes rights that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable consumer rights.
Contact
Questions may be sent to support@lifelegacy.co.za. Formal company details, final consumer terms and refund rules will be completed before paid public launch.
